time for classics. 1st single i want to present you is from the legendary gang starr group. originally from boston, gang starr was founded in 1986 by guru. crew members were dj 1,2 b down, mike dee and various producers such as donald d. or mark the 45 king.

in 87' and 89' they released 3 singles on the legendary wild pitch label.

the group split in 1989 and only guru wanted to continue under the name gang staar.
soon dj premier (then known as waxmaster c) joined gang starr.

actually it's not sure if gang starr is still existing.

one of my favourite song is "code of the streets" from their 94' album "hard to earn".
