Back in Business!

It took my a long time to post an update on this blog, anyways - I forgot my password for this blog...that's my excuse :)

Today, I was hangin around with my pals Riddla & Linda to get around several record stores in Bern.

Beatiful sunny day at my hometown. Perfect for gettin some fresh air and some black gold.

First start at Rathous Records, small record store, specialised in indie-rock, psychedelic, krautrock and other hippie shizzle. Yeah! They sell some rap records for 5 bucks in front of their store.

Bought Cut Chemist & Madlib - Buncky's Pick and La Familia - Wallstreet 12" (some German Rap)

Next stop Chop Records. Located pretty central at the Bundesplatz. Used to have more rap records few years ago. Nowadays some standard new vinyl. By the way, heard from the owner that the low-price-vinyl store in the Postgasse is not excisting anymore...

...next Layup store. Best store in Bern for cans and some also good for some local designed clothes but not that much rap anymore...lot of electornics sounds. Cool. But not what I was lookin for.

Then Oldies shop: you'll find everything in there. Largest record store in Switzerland. Narrow as fuck and some records are pretty expensive...found some rap records for my collection.

Large Pros - ijuswannachill (1996)
Fat Joe - Envy (1996)

Opposite of the you find an outlet store with more than 20'000 records for 2 bucks.

Found some nice and classic records. Good record quality but partially shitty cover. Anyways. Cheap.

Rasco - Heat seeking & The unassisted Remix (1998)
Raekwon - Only built 4 cuban linx (1995)
MC Lyte - Cold rock a party (1996)*
Camp Lo - Black Nostaljack (aka come on)

Later on I bought some shizzle at my Chnebbls (friends) crib, some good 2k rap from Europe, a Stones Throw record and the first Black Moon album.

Looptroop - Long Arm of the Law (2000)
Percee P - Throwback Rap Attack (2006)
Phi-Life Cypher - Herbaholics (2001)
Black Moon - Enta da Stage (1993)

Good day. Good music. Good fun. Good to know, isnt it?
